Amnis Education are a recruitment agency supporting schools with their long term and permanent staffing appointments. We are currently supporting a  good secondary school in Greater Manchester that are seeking an experienced Caretaker. This position is to start ASAP, Monday to Friday 10am - 6pm.

Caretakers play vital role in the maintenance and security of the school grounds.

The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day maintenance in a school environment, by understanding the building and its requirements, providing cleaning, gardening, building maintenance and support across the site.

Caretaker's main responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Carrying out basic repairs
• Keeping on top of health and safety around the school.
• Maintaining security and access to the premises.
• Effective time keeping to execute all tasks for the day.
• Manage heating, lighting and alarms systems to ensure they work correctly.
• Cleaning and supervising cleaners.
