Empowering Learning are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science to work in a secondary school in the Manchester area on a full-time basis from September 2022 until at least July 2023. It is highly likely this role will result in a full-time permanent contract providing the position suits both candidate and school.
For this Teacher of English role You will be responsible for teaching Literature and Language, working with both KS3 and KS4 classes.

The school are looking for either an experienced Teacher of English although ECT's will also be considered. A Teacher of Science with a focus on assessment for learning and great classroom management is especially desirable.
Our client secondary school is based in Manchester with around 950 pupils in attendance. The school can be accessed via the M62 and A56 for candidates with their own transport from surrounding areas of Manchester. For candidates on public transport, the school has excellent links from areas such as Failsworth, Oldham and central Manchester.
The incoming Teacher of English will be expected to:
* Teach a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
* Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated Science lessons for students at varying levels of learning ability.
* Set relevant homework tasks and mark these in line with the school curriculum.
* Monitor and evaluate pupil progress and to take appropriate action where required.
