Overview: GCSE Maths Tutor X2 (Part-time)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious private training provider who are seeking to appoint a part-time GCSE Maths Tutor to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of Maths GCSE qualifications.

The role is permanent and part-time, 2 and a half days per week, term time only. Start date September.

The position is peripatetic across different learning centres in and around Manchester, with classroom delivery of GCSE Maths. There are two part-time positions, however for the right candidate who is willing to travel to different centres in the Manchester area, this could be converted to one full-time position.

Duties: GCSE Maths Tutor X2 (Part-time)

• Train motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving qualifications in GCSE Maths
• Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner
• Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews

Qualifications and Competencies: GCSE Maths Tutor X2 (Part-time)

• Experience in a similar role - classroom delivery of GCSE Maths qualifications
• Teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd or equivalent)

Salary & Benefits: GCSE Maths Tutor X2 (Part-time)

• £10.5k (2 1/2 days per week, term time only, 41 weeks p.a)
• Permanent position
