We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Work Placement Officer (Childhood Studies) within our Sports, Public Services and Care Professions department on a fixed term (Maternity Cover), full time (37 hours) basis.
As a Work Placement Officer, you will be responsible to develop work placement opportunities with employers in order to provide placements for learners within the department. Also, you will be supporting students, tutors and employers, to ensure learners complete placements and achieve their qualifications
In order to do this, you will need:
Awareness of relevant Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures
Appropriate industry experience.
Appropriate Assessor Qualification
L3 or above qualification in the subject area
Experience working in nurseries and or schools
Experience working with FE learners preferable
Extensive travelling within the Greater Manchester area
