We want you to join our team of course leaders to help deliver and develop our HE Games Art curriculum. You will take responsibility for the management of our current, well-established HE Games Art provision. At Confetti we put our course leaders at the core of the student experience and your role will include coordinating resources and student activities, developing industry links and managing your team of tutors effectively to achieve course targets.

If you are a passionate educator with experience in the games industry and would relish the opportunity to develop a unique and engaging curriculum and have some or all of the expertise outlined below then we are keen to meet you.

Industry specific experience, skills and knowledge required for this role are:

  • Some experience of Education curriculum design and management.
  • Knowledge and Experience of the Game Art Pipeline and appropriate Industry Software.
  • Understanding of historical and contemporary theory and practice in Games Art and its implementation in the wider Games Industry.
  • Up to date knowledge of Games Industry (Video or Tabletop/Board Games etc.) and business models and roles within it.

A successful candidate would also have some of the following practical skills/knowledge:

  • Understanding and experience of 3D Modelling and/or Sculpture.
  • Understanding and experience of Concept Art production.
  • Understanding and experience of 2D Digital Art production.
  • Understanding and experience of Asset Production for Games.
  • Understanding and experience of traditional art techniques with particular focus on drawing of anatomy and environments.

Our course leaders are at the heart of our education management team so applicants will need to have a proven track record of managing people and curriculum within an education environment.

It’s essential that you are conversant with current professional practices within your field of expertise. You will also have experience of teaching and/or managing in further and/or higher education. You will also be educated to at least degree level and will hold a recognised teaching qualification. If you have the attitude and desire to work in varied, dynamic environment and believe in industry shaping vocational provision then we can guarantee you will play a key role in our success.
