This is an amazing opportunity for anyone interested in working with young people or school pupils to live and work on the premises of a prestigious school with enviable sports and recreation facilities and grounds. The Graduate Student Support Assistant role could be used as a stepping stone to a PGCE course or other work within a school environment. The School is happy to support those with an interest in Sports Coaching, working with Junior School aged pupils, pupil wellbeing and mental health or an academic subject.

Located in the South West, the Graduate Student Support Assistant will support the Boarding Houses and various departments across the School. This is a temporary post available from late August 2022 until 31 July 2023.

Duties:

* support the Housemistresses to ensure the smooth running of the boarding house

* accompany pupils to medical appointments and on other occasions as necessary.

* Provide support to pupils and the Housemistresses as required

The Candidate:

* Must be a recent graduate

* Suitable applicants should have experience of working with young people in some capacity

* have some knowledge of how to enthuse, lead and manage teams and groups.

* should be enthusiastic and flexible

Remuneration:

* salary of £15,000 + onsite 'bedsit' accommodation with en-suite facilities

* all meals

Additional info:

This is a live-in position and holidays cannot be taken during term time.
