Year 4 teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are supporting an Junior school in the Sheffield area with the recruitment of a Year 4 teacher for a maternity cover starting September 2022 until August 2023 initially. The position is full time and would involve delivering all aspects of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, including planning for catch up sessions in English and Maths and working closely with the class Teaching Assistant to plan individualised intervention programmes.

The schools most recent Ofsted report was outstanding with Ofsted commenting on the 'excellent progress' children make throughout their time in school 'The children's behaviour is excellent; they are mature for their age. They ably take on responsibility and treat each other with respect.'

You will be joining an experienced Key Stage 2 team, who share responsibilities for planning and the school is well resourced with IT suites to aid delivery of inspiring and engaging lessons.

The school has excellent access to the M1 motorway and is also easily accessible on public transport.

To be successful for this role you should have Right to work in the UK, have a DBS on the up date service as well as being able to provide referebces from within the last five years.
