Secondary School Teaching Assistant

Secondary School Teaching Assistant required – Nottingham - £60 – £65 per day

Are you a Secondary School Teaching Assistant with a passion to encourage progression in your pupils?

This exciting Secondary School Teaching assistant vacancy is the perfect opportunity if you are a qualified teaching assistant looking to work at a good and supportive school. We are looking for exceptional KS3 and KS4 teaching assistants to work with us on longer term contracts.

Primary School Teaching Assistant responsibilities and duties

You will be expected to work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who may be struggling academically, SEN pupils and with pupils who are behaviourally challenging.

You will be expected to support the teaching and learning and follow the school’s policies and procedures.

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant role you should have:

  • Recognised teaching assistant qualification

  • The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

Support Assistant Salary and Benefits:

Additional requirements:

  • Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

  • Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
