ABC Teachers are partnered with a busy school in Rednal, Birmingham to recruit a KS2 teacher on a long-term basis. The position will be covering PPA sessions across the KS2 year groups and will be working 3 afternoons per week. 

The school itself is a rapidly improving primary which has a growing reputation within the local area and is overseen by a passionate Head who is looking to take the school in the right direction. The school benefits from a dedicated team who are passionate about providing all children with access to a challenging and fun education.

The successful candidate must:

-        Hold valid QTS

-        Have previous experience within a similar role

-        Demonstrate up to date knowledge of the curriculum

-        Be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills

-        Have the ability to maintain high standards and professional working relationships

-        Be a creative and engaging individual who can inspire mixed ability learners

Requirements

All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you), need to provide professional or academic references and attend a face to face interview. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
