This large multicultural school in Wandsworth. Is a modern, high performing Academy with state of the art facilities. Successfully educating students aged 11-18 in a safe and supportive environment.
Art at this school is a popular option at both GCSE and A Level and is a pivotal feature of the school's curriculum. All students study Art in KS3 and the school offers three GCSEs, in Visual Art, Graphic Communication and Textiles.
They also have a dedicated Sixth Form studio for their popular Fine Art A level course.
This post is suitable for an NQT or a more experienced practitioner, for whom excellent support would be available. Regular professional development courses are also available for teachers at any stage of their teaching career.
The successful candidate must have Qualified Teacher Status and the relevant qualification to teach Art & Design to an advanced level.
The ability to teach / experience of teaching DT will also be an advantage but not essential.
