An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tutor of Sport, who can also deliver GCSE Maths, to join a well-established team at an excellent Education Training Provider in the Birmingham on a permanent full-time basis.
Recent growth provides the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to join the team and make a positive impact and contribution. You will be responsible for delivery of Level 3 OCR Extended diploma in Sport & Physical Activity development as well as being required to deliver OCR GCSE Maths. There is a cohort of 13 learners, split across two locations in Birmingham and Coventry. Driving between locations will be required and mileage will be paid.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience teaching in an FE College or in Secondary Education, has experience of teaching Sport and up-to-date experience of teaching GCSE Maths on the new specifications.
To be considered, suitable applicants will need the following:
- A teaching qualification at level 3 or above
- An Assessors Award (e.g. A1, CAVA, TAQA)
- Experience teaching Level 3 OCR Extended diploma in Sport & Physical Activity
- Up-to-date experience teaching GCSE Maths
In return you will be offered a competitive salary to be discussed during interview (£18,000 - £30,000). The working hours per week will be 37 with a holiday allowance of 22 days, plus 8 Bank holidays, plus up to 3 days for good attendance.
