Classroom Teachers are currently looking for an English Teacher with previous SEN experience to join an 'Outstanding' school in South East London. A school with a specialism with developing students with learning difficulties, primarily autism require a teacher passionate to provide a creative and practical learning environment.
Teach English to small groups of up to 8 students, but usually less, or on a 1:1 basis
To deliver GCSE English and/or GCSE English Literature at Foundation and Higher Level
Assist with the management of student behaviour to ensure a constructive working environment.
Responding to students about the work that has been set.
Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development.
Be supported with a team of highly qualified teaching assistants
Select and use a range of different learning resources and equipment to motivate and encourage students.
The age range you will be working with will be KS4
You must have previous experience working in a classroom;
You must have an enhanced DBS
A QTS is required (NQT's will be considered)
You must be passionate about education, and possess a positive and engaging demeanour

We pay £50 for a recommendation of an experienced teaching assistant and £150 will be paid for a recommendation of a qualified teacher (with QTS). Payment will be made after the teaching assistant or teacher has worked 20 FULL days through Classroom.
