Higher Level Teaching Assistant

> Deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups
> Support the social and emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required
> Support the teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour and promoting positive behaviour
> Help with the planning of some lessons
> Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing classroom resources
> Listen to pupils read and read to pupils as a class, group or one-to-one
> A CACHE level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
> A current, enhanced DBS on the online update service (or be willing to undertake one)
> Primary Education teacher training
> Enthusiastic and supportive attitude
> Strong classroom management skills
> Ability to keep students focused and engaged
> Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
> Good organisational and time-management skills
>Team Teach Trained (desirable)
