ABC Teachers part of TES are currently looking to recruit a passionate Learning Support Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school in the Walsall area. This role will be on a full time, ongoing basis starting as soon as possible.  

This school caters for students with MLD and Autism, as well as a variety of other Special Educational Needs, who are between 3-19 years of age. We are ideally looking for an individual with experience working in an SEN setting and is confident working with a range of Learning Difficulties, who is a natural communicator.

The ideal candidate –

  • Level 2 TA qualification
  • Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
  • Build rapport with the children and be creative
  • In date DBS & on the Update Service   

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child and Adult Workforce; you will need to pay for this upfront.  At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.

We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
