Description

Bretsa Early Years is an agency specialising in recruiting nursery staff for childcare settings throughout London.

Our client, based in Greenwich Borough, is looking for a nursery assistant who specialises in SEN to provide 1 to 1 support to pre-school age children with additional needs. Applicants for this position must be available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week for a minimum of 4 hours a day.

This is a temporary position, working through Bretsa. The successful applicant will benefit from:

  • £10 per hour
  • Weekly pay
  • Holiday pay
  • Pension scheme

For this position we are looking for an individual who has:

  • Proven professional experience of at least 1 year working in SEN
  • Good understanding and management of challenging behaviour
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS
  • Ability to plan and initiate activities to help with children's learning and development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to providing the best quality childcare
  • Great energy, resilience and enthusiasm

A full and relevant Level 2 in Childcare/Early Years Education or a minimum 1 year experience is essential to be considered for this position.
