GCSE English tutor - part time
We are currently recruiting Core Subject tutors, to work in partnership with a professional organisation who support young sportsmen/sportswomen in the early days of their career. Alongside obtaining sports-based qualifications, this company strives to ensure they all access GCSE English and Maths tutoring.
Therefore, we are looking to recruit a subject tutor for GCSE English students. This particular requirement is to tutor their students across Nottingham and Derby. Successful tutors must drive and have access to a vehicle and there is a travel allowance encorporated into an uplifted daily rate. Currently, there are six hours of work per week across two days (Thursday/Fridays); this is four hours teaching and two hours PPA. This is an ongoing assignment, starting immediately, until May half-term.
The students you will be working with are talented, friendly young adults who have positive attitudes to learning and education. You will be supported by a strong management team who all have an educational background. Administrative tasks are kept to a minimum by a unique "app" system which means you can do what you do best - improve results!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Delivering 1-2-1 and small class English (GCSE/FS)
- Monitoring and reporting on pupil engagement and progress
Qualifications and Skills
- PGCE in Secondary or Further Education (THIS IS ESSENTIAL)
- £excellent hourly rates
- Access to a range of CPD such as Safeguarding, Prevent, and Team-Teach
