Nursery Deputy Manager

Our clients nursery is set on the edge of the charming market town, Bedale. Bedale is within commutable distance of Northallerton, Ripon and Harrogate, as well as Darlington. They are a close-knit nursery however larger in size with over 140 children and my client ensures they are totally committed to providing a safe and stimulating environment to suit every child.
Your new role
This position is available on a permanent basis and will be to start as soon as possible. When you have secured your new job as a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will ensure that a caring and stimulating environment is provided for the children, taking in to account their developmental needs and enabling children to reach their full potential. You will be required to facilitate planning with the staff team in accordance with the EYFS. As a Deputy Nursery Manager you will be supporting and providing supervision of staff meetings and appraisals in accordance with the policy of the Nursery. You must be willing to be counted in ratios as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have recent experience of working as a Deputy/Nursery Manager in a nursery/pre-school setting and have a good knowledge of understanding and delivering the EYFS. You must have a relevant Level 3 Qualification. As a Deputy/Nursery Manager you must have the ability and willingness to observe and record children's learning. You will be required to complete some office-based work to include- journals, referrals. You must be forward thinking and able to work well as part of a lovely small team.
