English Teacher Job in Dover, April 2019
We are looking for a self-motivated and inspiring English Teacher for our client in the Dover area. This is a specialist behavioural provision which caters for Key Stage 4, students who find mainstream education difficult.
The English Teacher post will be to:
* Deliver a full English teaching commitment across English to Level 2
* To deliver targeted and differentiated lessons across a wide SEN range
* Provide a positive approach to behaviour management
* Ensure communication with students, staff, and other multi-agency staff is effective
* Provide high quality assessment, monitoring and report writing
The school, working closely with schools in the local Dover area, provides full-time and respite education. This English Teacher job will be based on purpose-built facilities in the Dover area. Support is provided by an experienced team, including ongoing CPD. Ofsted has highlighted the strong leadership of the school and the relationships between staff and students.
As the successful English Teacher, you will be dedicated, reliable and confident in your ability to manage behaviour and facilitate learning. We are looking for English teachers with proven behaviour management skills. You will have a recognised teaching qualification preferably QTS/QTLS or proven experience delivering English to GCSE level.
