Teaching Assistant (Part time)
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in the S12 area of Sheffield. They are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant on a part time basis to support behaviour across the whole school. Applications will be warmly accepted from staff who have experience working in settings such as PRUs, youth centres and residential care.
The school is a 'Good' school, well located with good bus and tram links. With a new building, the school are lucky enough to have fresh, clean spaces for children to learn - as well as specialist Early Years Unit and outdoor spaces. The school has a strong staff team, and good leadership who provide a supportive environment.
The school are looking for someone to support them in implementing a new behaviour policy across school. You would be expected to support children expressing challenging behaviour on a 121 basis and in smaller focus groups. We are looking for someone who is patient and understanding and who can be a good role model for the children that they are supporting. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has recent behaviour management training, such as Team Teach or THRIVE. We can offer training through our CPD Academy, and will be running Team Teach in the half term.
