1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Have you completed the Step On Training?
The school are recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work directly with an Autistic child in Year 1. This position is ideally full-time to give consistency and will be until the end of the academic year. The TA needs to have a patience, empathy and be experienced with Step On Training.
This is a small community small based in the North West of the city of Norwich.

The Ideal 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant:
As the ideal 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will;
- Have previous experience as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, preferably within Key Stage One
- Hold Step Up Training
- Have either UK or NARIC recognised Qualifications
- Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies
- Be keen to make the child’s experience of learning a positive one
