Are you seeking a new and exciting opportunity? Are you looking to make a serious difference to children'schildren's education and mental wellbeing? Are you passionate about Maths?

A specialist Pupil Referral Unit in Dagenham are seeking a fully qualified Maths Teacher. The successful candidate would have taught pupils previously in a mainstream or SEN setting up to a GCSE and BTEC level.

Though initially a temporary contract, the school are willing to create a permanent role for the right candidate.

This setting accommodates specifically to students with social, emotional and mental health issues and are no longer attending mainstream. The school has a very strong academic and student support reputation that has improved greatly and shows the hard efforts of staff and pupils. They adopt an inclusive ethos in which all pupils are eager to participate in the life of the school and contribute to the wider community.

Each class consists of six students with two Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), additional to a widely supportive senior leadership team.

The school also make a conscious effort to work very closely with the parents and the community to support students outside of the school environment.

The successful candidate MUST hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) otherwise will not be considered for this position. Please refrain from applying if you do not hold the correct qualifications and meet the criteria.
