Science Teacher Job: An exciting temporary opportunity has arisen for a Science Teacher in this successful specialist school in Dover, catering for young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Autism. This Science Teacher job will be starting in February to cover a maternity leave.
The successful Science Teacher will be able to deliver all three Sciences to GCSE.
As a Science Teacher you will have:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience teaching Science
* An understanding of special educational needs, particularly Social, Emotional and Behavioural needs (SEBD) and Autism, and their impact on learning
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience of dealing with challenging situations with proven behaviour management skills
Experience of SEND would be an advantage, but we are also keen to hear from Science Teachers with mainstream experience looking experience special educational needs.
