English Teacher Required in Wiltshire - February 2019
We are looking for a qualified teacher of English to teach English at a very successful Secondary school in Wiltshire from February 2019. This is a full-time English teaching post including full teaching responsibilities. This role could be a permanent position for the right candidate.
The school welcomes applicants from NQTs, as well as more experienced teachers of English, as it runs a very strong NQT programme and many NQTs have progressed onto leadership roles quickly within school. The English Department is a dynamic, well established and has strong leadership. This role includes teaching classes at Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
The school is a fully comprehensive single Academy for students from the ages of 11 – 18, with just over a 1009 students on roll. They are a school for their community and strongly believe in the potential of every young person. Visits to the school are welcomed by interested candidates.
To be considered for this role you must:
• Hold QTS status
• Have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the English curriculum at Key Stage 3 and GCSE
• Have a commitment to raising student achievement at all levels
• Have the ability to work collaboratively within a well-established, supportive and dynamic English Department
