Our partnered school is seeking a Level 3 Forest School Lead to inspire children to develop and grow a love of the outdoors

Responsibilities:

• To oversee the day-to-day delivery and organisation of the Forest School session and program
• To promote the forest school and outdoor learning space
• To prepare and maintain the forest school site, including the Fire Site
• To be responsible at all times for all group members in accordance with Forest School procedure

Requirements:

• Level 3 Forest School Practitioner
• Knowledge, understanding and practical experience of Forest School Provision
• Experience of working with children with SEND
• First Aid Training would be advantageous
• Enahanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

About the School:

Our Partnered school has access to 8 acres of woodland which is used for its Forest School provision. They conduct forest school sessions using a learner-centered approach throughout the academic year. The school aims to develop students' understanding of the natural world and build their confidence and self-esteem with their forest school sessions and programs.

Students at the school are aged from 4 to 19 years and have an EHCP in place to support their learning journeys. The school has a warm and inclusive community which enables all young people to acquire the skills, knowledge and experiences that lead to meaningful and enjoyable lives.
