A fantastic secondary school, based in Leicester, are actively recruiting a teacher of English (QTS) to join them from August/September in the new academic year to teach their students up to GCSE.
You will be teaching English to KS3 and KS4 to pupils, and inspiring them to exceed their target grades. The successful candidate will need to be able to start in September but the school are open to taking on candidates earlier for the right fit.
This is a full-time, permanent position working in a school where teachers and staff are their most valued asset. The academy has access to a wealth of support provided by a team of outstanding practitioners ensuring that teaching staff are given every opportunity to flourish and develop during their time in school.
The successful applicant will need:
  • To be up to date in terms of subject knowledge and pedagogical techniques as well as ensuring that the department functions effectively as a team.
  • QTS
  • Participation in the continued review of their curriculum and assessment.
  • A passion for maths and the personal development of young people.
