Teaching Assistant (Independent Secondary School)

Pay - £17,550 - £22,425

September 2024 – Full time

• Teaching Assistant required full time to start, September 2024
• Supporting a range of mainstream special educational needs pupils (aged 11 to 16)
• Working closely with the SENDCo to support implementation of any individual Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)
• Combination of in-class support and small group interventions across the week
• Participate in annual review meetings with parents when required
• Main SEND requirements here are Autism (ASC) and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) – experience supporting pupils in these areas is desirable but not essential

• Experience supporting pupils in a mainstream or special needs setting / transferable setting
