Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher Location: Portsmouth Salary: £130 - £190 per day anzuk education is currently in search of Primary Teachers to become integral members of our Team.

Overview of the Primary Teacher role:
  • Foster a secure and inviting classroom environment that instils a sense of importance, respect, and enthusiasm among all learners
  • Deliver personalised lesson plans to accommodate the distinct learning styles and behavioural needs of Key Stage 1 and 2 students
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies specifically tailored to children in KS1 and KS2
  • Maintain open communication by consistently providing feedback to KS1 and KS2 students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative approach to education
The ideal Primary Teacher:
  • Hold a recognized teaching credential, such as QTS
  • Exhibit a proven history of effective engagement with primary-aged students facing behavioural challenges, highlighting your skill in dealing with distinctive demands of this student cohort
  • Personify qualities of patience, empathy, and an authentic enthusiasm for leaving a significant imprint in the lives of students, particularly those with diverse behavioural needs
  • Maintain an up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

To be considered for work as a Primary Teacher with anzuk education :
 
* You must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, you will not be able to teach in a UK school without this.
 
* Experience teaching in primary schools is desirable but not essential, you might be fresh out of your PGCE or perhaps you're a secondary teacher looking to try a primary setting?!
 
* You'll need a passion for education and making a positive impact on young learners.
