Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teacher/Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and emotional development of our students. Working with small class sizes of 8 - 10 students, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons and providing general cover as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across a range of subjects to meet the diverse needs of our students.
• Providing effective classroom management and behavior support, ensuring a positive and safe learning environment at all times.
• Developing and implementing individualised learning plans to support the academic and personal development of students with SEMH needs.
• Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support and intervention strategies for students.
• Participating in staff training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our academy.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with students with SEMH needs or in a similar challenging educational setting.
• Strong behavior management skills and the ability to establish positive relationships with students.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of young people.
