Outstanding Alternative Provision located in the London Borough of Bromley  is recruiting a well-qualified (MPS or UPS) PE Teacher / Teacher of PE with QTS.  This full-time permanent role is to start in September 2024.

Creative & State-Of-The-Art Alternative Provision located in Bromley catering to children with Behavioural difficulties & Anxiety. Exemplary teaching practitioners, Senior Leaders, Behavioural Support, Therapists, Counsellors and Social Workers. 

Seeking a Teacher of PE / PE Teacher who has experience with SEMH / CAMHS/ ASD/ ADHD and other complex needs; Pupils have a wide range of learning and behavioural needs.  As a PE teacher, you will have taught a range of sports; Football, Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, Athletics, Cricket from KS3 to GCSE. Class sizes are small, typically up to 10 students per class, each class is supported by Behaviour staff.

The successful PE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Taught a number of PE sports; Football, Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, Athletics, Cricket etc
  • Have taught PE at KS3 up to GCSE in either a mainstream school or SEN setting
    Experience of Teaching of students with SEN; ie SEMH/ASD, ADHD, Behaviour, Complex Needs
    Able to plan, deliver teach and mark a “good” to “outstanding” lesson
  • Strong classroom practitioner & able to motivate students
    Can differentiate your pupils workload to meet their needs
    Can confidently communicate effectively to students both orally and in writing
  • Worked in either a Secondary School/PRU/ Alternative Provision/ SEN Provision or SEN School
  • Easy commutable distance to Bromley
