We are recruiting for Career Coaches to deliver support to young people across all aspects of careers advice and guidance supporting NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) young people in to sustainable education or employment.

You will manage a caseload of customers delivering advocacy services, and information/advice to support them to address their personal challenges/barriers to education, employment, and life.  You will meet customers across Oldham and Rochdale working to improve their outcomes and their chances of becoming EET (In Employment, Education or Training) through setting SMART Action Plans which are regularly reviewed to ensure progression.

You will contract with each customer, connect them with learning, mentoring and opportunities to increase their skills and you will mentor them throughout the intervention helping them apply for jobs, courses, and apprenticeships. You will be skilled across all aspects of youth engagement, you will have a good understanding of the landscape and the opportunities available to help young people in to education, training, or employment.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be a vehicle driver with access to your own vehicle and you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
