ALI Recruits is seeking a committed and dynamic Senior School SENDCO to lead the implementation of the SEN and Disability Policy at an innovative, forward-thinking independent school in Surrey.
Candidates applying must hold a relevant SEND teaching qualification alongside a good Honours degree. Candidates with QTS and a Level 7 SpLD Assessment Qualification are highly desirable.
Areas of responsibility will include:
- The annual Learning Support Development Plan
- Lead meetings and attend Open Days
- Review EHCPs & support plans with pupils, parents and staff
- Teach individuals or small groups with support programmes
- Work with pupils, parents & teachers to ensure realistic expectations for behaviour & achievement are set for SEND pupils
