A thriving Mathematics department is looking for a Teacher of Maths to join their team from September 2024 in this permanent, full-time role. Empowering Learning welcome applications from experienced candidates, ECTs and those at the very start of their teaching careers. The school is also willing to support those who wish to complete a PGCE.

With the recent introduction of a new organisational structure, this is an exciting time to join the school and a future of opportunity awaits the successful candidate. Empowering Learning are seeking a well-qualified and inspirational professional to teach Mathematics at all levels up to, and including, A Level.

Mathematics is very much at the heart of the school's curriculum and forms a faculty along with Computer Science. They are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic teacher to join this key faculty in a full-time role from September 2024. The successful applicant will join a strong and dedicated team which is committed to maintaining and improving upon the excellent public examination results achieved in recent years.

The ideal candidate:

  • A good degree in Mathematics or a related discipline
  • Experience of teaching A Level and Further Mathematics
  • Track record of motivating learners and raising achievement
  • Team player who is flexible in outlook and attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Patient, friendly and approachable
  • Understanding and supportive of the School's ethos
