As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising students in various classroom settings.
• Implementing pre-prepared lesson plans effectively.
• Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Providing support to students with their learning and social development.
• Collaborating with teaching staff and school administration to uphold school policies.

Requirements

The successful Cover Supervisor will have;

• Previous experience working with young people, preferably in a school or youth setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage classroom dynamics.
• A passion for education and youth development.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
