CAD Technician

Mildenhall, Suffolk – Hybrid working available after 3 months

8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday (this includes a 30 minute paid break and one-hour unpaid lunch, there is some flexibility on these hours)

£27,000 - £30,000

26 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Health cash plan, death in service cover.

Who are we?

We are Busy Bee Recruitment, an awarding-winning recruitment agency supplying both temporary and permanent staffing solutions throughout the UK to our wonderful client base.

Duties to include:

• Use AutoCAD to produce detailed technical drawings.
• Use of SolidWorks for basic product development.
• Maintain and update the drawing management system with standard drawings.
• Raise designs from customer briefs.
• Work with production to ensure that they have the correct technical drawings.
• Come up with strong and effective design solutions whilst minimising costs to produce and manufacture.

What we are looking for:

• Proficient user of AutoCAD.
• Ideally some experience in using Solidworks however not essential.
• A Design/Engineering based qualification.
• Experience working within a production/manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of MS Packages.
• Excellent communication skills.
