SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently workng with a a large award winning Secondary Academy in Hackney seeking an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in year 7 with ADHD.

A school based in Enfield is seeking a Teaching Assistant/LSA to start immediately. The school prides itself on being an inclusive and caring school, and it believes all children have a right to an excellent education irrespective of race, creed, or circumstance. Children are helped to flourish and to excel. The school regularly participates in local charitable events and engages with the community.

Requirements:

• The role will involve supporting pupils in a class and 1:1 setting
• Supporting children with daily tasks.
• Assessing and accommodating individual learning needs of students.
• Requires SEN experience.
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to help in other areas of the classroom.
• The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
• Work well in a team and happy to contribute.

You must hold a DBS or proceed to apply for a new DBS.
