We are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partnered schools based Covetry. ABC Teachers are looking for Teaching Assistants with a  passion for watching pupils succeed and strive for success!

About the role

In this role you will be working with a pupil in Year 6 on a 1:1 basis.

The pupil has SEMH as well as ASD, so experience with SEND would be prefered, however not essential.

All we ask, is that you're passionate, considerate and quick thinking.

You will be working 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday

You will be mainly based in class, however may have to step out with the pupil. The student is very active, so if you like PE this is the role for you!

In the Year 6 class you will be based in, there will be a main Class Teacher as well as a part-time general Teaching Assistant who will be able to support you if needed.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Level 3 Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Must have a Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Be willing to work the required hours for the role
  • We must be able to reference the last 2 years in full
  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning
