Momentum Training is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Welding Instructor to join our team in Birmingham. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds who are enrolled in our brand new purpose-built Centre.

Requirements: - applications must have the below in order to be considered 

• Proven experience in delivering Welding training or instruction.
• Strong knowledge of awarding body requirements and industry standards.
• Passion for supporting learners with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
• Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach the Welding programme, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all learners.
• Align the curriculum with the requirements of the awarding bodies to meet industry standards.
• Implement effective teaching, learning, and assessment strategies to facilitate learner progress and achievement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
• Collaborate with the Head of Centre to establish connections with local businesses, enterprises, and post-16 providers.
• Ensure the skills taught are relevant to the local labor demand and promote positive pathways into further training and employment.

Desirable:

• A1 Assessors Award.
• Level 2/3 in Welding.
• Accredited tutor status.
