Secondary ICT Teacher | ICT / Computer Science Teacher | Leyland This exciting Secondary ICT / Computer Science Teacher position available for a 12 month contract starting in September 2017 is the perfect opportunity to join a modern and vibrant secondary school in the Leyland area. This ICT / Computer Science Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups. You will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of an up to date curriculum as well as providing challenge and ensure good progress. A successful candidate needs to be competent at teaching Computer Science skills and being knowledgeable of any recent curriculum changes. This Ofsted 'Requires Improvement' school caters for around 500 students and aims to provide a safe and supportive learning environment in which students can grow and achieve. The school aims to inspire and challenge students through the use of modern and varied resources, in order to ensure that learners make excellent progress and leave with qualifications that give them opportunities in either further education or employment. In addition to academic achievement the school aims to nurture students through the provision of pastoral care. The school and senior leaders have a clear plan in how to deliver the improvement required and any successful candidate should be dedicated in supporting this plan.
